Ferrari 458 Italia Shoot

The essence of this image has been in suspended animation for a period of time . The Ferrari was photographed in a studio in Manchester. Initially, I had the idea of using a location in Manchester, perhaps around the Lowry Museum, in the Salford Quays area. I had done some test shots in Birmingham to get a grungy dilapidated background. Further research included Canada Water in London and a potential location in Liverpool. The background for the studio shot was conceived of as an HDR image. A trip to Liverpool provided a series of architectural images as both an extension of my portfolio and the pre-visualised image for the Ferrari shot. The car required extensive work in Photoshop, along with the twilight feel to the hdr background. The 'tyre track' was provided by the floor tiling inherent in the background image.
