Battersea Power Station

This iconic grade II listed building has remained under used for decades. Ideas and potential government projects haven't materialised. At one point Chelsea Football Club made a bid to turn it into a football stadium, keeping the external facade of the power station. A Malaysian company has successfully bid for the 39 acre site as a "multi-use real estate regeneration project". It remains to be seen how it will affect the classic skyline near Chelsea Bridge.
